Inpatient Unit Staff Nurse Palliative CareAre you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful difference to patients and families receiving specialist palliative and end-of-life care? We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit at Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care.
Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, individualised care for people with life-limiting illness, while supporting relatives, carers and colleagues in a calm, professional and person-centred environment.
About the role- Provide safe, dignified and holistic nursing care from admission through to discharge or end of life.
- Use your clinical knowledge to support patients with complex palliative care needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the hospice and external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
- Support junior staff, Health Care Assistants and new starters through supervision, mentoring and guidance.
- Contribute to service development, audit activity and continuous improvement.
About you- You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- You will have relevant clinical experience and a commitment to delivering excellent patient-centred care.
- You will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- You will communicate with sensitivity, professionalism and confidence with patients, families and colleagues.
- Experience or a qualification in palliative care would be desirable, but is not essential.
