As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll be one of the first friendly faces our customers see, offering advice, dispensing prescriptions accurately and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Key responsibilities

• Assist with the accurate dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
• Provide a warm, professional welcome to customers and respond to their queries
• Offer over-the-counter advice on medicines and healthcare products
• Maintain accurate records and support stock management, including ordering and receiving deliveries
• Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
• Support wider pharmacy services and work collaboratively with the team

What we're looking for

• A friendly, approachable manner with excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team
• A willingness to learn and develop within a community pharmacy setting
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare environment is helpful, but not essential as training will be provided
