Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy Team in Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. The post holder will deliver a range of occupationally focussed assessments and interventions and will join a small and friendly team based in YYF. The team is part of the acute and trauma OT service within ABUHB
The post offers opportunity to deliver a wide variety of assessments and interventions with patients both in a hospital setting as well as in the patients own home after discharge. There will be opportunity to support patients with a wide range of conditions and a variety of complexity. Interventions include assessment and provision of moving and handling equipment and inpatient rehabilitation with a focus on rapid discharge planning using a discharge to assess model where appropriate.

Occupational Therapy is a highly regarded service as part of the Multidisciplinary approach in YYF. This is a faced paced environment that will require the applicant to have good organisational skills and be flexible to changing demands.
