Main duties of the jobAs a Senior Audiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiology care.
Your main duties will include:
- Performing hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and follow-up care for adults.
- Provide specialist diagnostic and rehabilitation services appropriate to training and experience such as with complex adults, adults with additional needs or those with tinnitus.
- Providing diagnostic support to ENT clinics, including some paediatric testing.
- Working both independently and as part of a team.
- Participating in quality assurance initiatives.
- Supporting audits and service development projects.
- Assuming specific responsibilities such as managing the day-to-day running of a specific section or project, serving as site lead, champion, or taking on supervision roles, within your area of expertise and as agreed with the manager.
- Engaging in the training and supervision of junior team members.
We provide services at Ashford, St Peter's and Woking in Surrey.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- BSc in Audiology, BAAT Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent
- Registered with Academy for Healthcare Science or Health Care Professions Council
Desirable- MSc in Audiology/Healthcare Science
ExperienceEssential- Significant post-graduate clinical experience in audiology, including assessment and management of tinnitus and hearing loss
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Clinical audit and service development
Desirable- Use of Auditbase patient management system
SkillsEssential- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
KnowlEssential- Detailed knowledge of current British Society of Audiology and British Academy of Audiology practice guidance relevant to the role
