The Band 5 practitioner role within the Safeguarding Children's Team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust involves supporting the team in advancing the safeguarding agenda and ensuring quality assurance across the trust. Main duties of the job
In summary, the Band 5 practitioner within the Safeguarding Children's Team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities that collectively support the safeguarding agenda. The role encompasses advocacy, compliance, education, clinical support, communication, collaboration, advisory, and audit functions. Through these activities, the practitioner contributes to the Trust's efforts to protect vulnerable children and adults, promote their health and well-being, and ensure that safeguarding practices are robust, effective, and aligned with statutory requirements and best practice guidance.
