Applications are invited for a job share position as Workplace Health and Wellbeing Manager.
The post holder will ensure the ongoing provision of a highly, responsive service which supports staff in being happy and healthy in work and pro-actively works with Managers and the HR department in ensuring that we have a positive, healthy work environment which supports the health, well being and attendance of our people.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Manager who wants to be able to influence and shape the wider agenda around health, work and well-being working closely with the Organisational Development department as an integral part of the implementation of our People Strategy.
Main duties of the jobThe job involves managing the development of a pro-active nurse led service to meet occupational health and well-being demands of all the clients of the service. This included strategic planning for the development of the service linked to national agendas and the Trust's corporate strategy, financial management of the Workplace Health and Wellbeing Centre budget, clinical governance, operational management of staff, policy development and innovation.

Person SpecificationExperienceEssential- Previous management or leadership experience in Occupational Health.
- Experience of working in Occupational Health in an NHS setting
- Experience of developing and implementing policies, protocols and procedures
Desirable- Experience in commercial development, PR or marketing
QualificationsEssential- Registered Nurse
- Specialist Occupational Health practitioner BSc/MSc in Occupational Health or equivalent
- Evidence of ongoing relevant professional development
Desirable- Member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health
- Counselling, CBT or equivalent
