Job summaryThe postholder will provide specialist occupational health services to NHS partners and external customers.
Main duties of the jobSpecifically the post-holder will:
- Deliver high quality, evidence based occupational health services, ensuring compliance with NHS and legislative standards.
- Provide clinical advice and management, including fitness for work assessments, health screening and health surveillance both for NHS partners and external customers.
- Nurse lead for smaller contracts and/or assist senior occupational health nurses to lead larger contracts, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact for matters related to health at work and representing the service at meetings as required.
- Support and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and evidence-based practice.
