Main duties of the jobAbout the role
You will support our Biomedical Scientists and technical staff with a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Accurate data entry using laboratory information systems
- Pre-analytical duties such as centrifuging, pipetting, aliquoting, and sample preparation
- General laboratory responsibilities including filing, housekeeping, and maintaining Good Laboratory Practice

All appointments with a start date on or after 1 October will be subject to a 12-week probationary period. This provides a structured and supportive period to help you settle into your role, with regular reviews and feedback.
All roles in the Trust include a mandatory 12-week training period. Therefore, successful candidates are expected to have the Right to Work for a period of at least 6 months from the proposed start date.
