Job summary

The Department of Clinical Health Psychology at Hillingdon Hospital brings together embedded psychology specialists working within adult physical health MDTs at Hillingdon Hospital.

This well-established role is focused in supporting the Pain Management Programme (PMP) and the Cross-Specialty clinic (XHP) within the Department.

The PMP is a multi-disciplinary programme, delivered as a series of interactive group sessions guiding people with chronic pain in living as fully as possible despite pain.

The XHP clinic receives inpatient and outpatient referrals from all specialties in Hillingdon Hospital to address psychological factors affecting treatment and recovery.

We are looking for a graduate psychologist with an excellent record of academic achievement, excellent potential and demonstrable interest and aptitude in data analysis and digital healthcare innovation.

Training and supervision in the well-defined clinical interactions within the Pain Management Programme will be offered. While we do not expect clinical experience, we are looking for excellent skills in complex communication, teamworking and using R for data processing.

Monday is a required day; all working days will be onsite, with the possibility of defined at-home sessions for defined tasks.

In the application statement, applicants are advised to concisely outline the specific evidence we are looking for shortlisting.
