We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Salaried GP to join our welcoming, supportive, and family-friendly rural dispensing practice for 2 sessions per week on Tuesdays.

Job responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse rural population, working alongside a friendly and experienced multidisciplinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Completing reports e.g. Firearms, Capita, UC, DVLA etc.
• Developing management plans in partnership with patients.
• Reviewing pathology results, correspondence, and clinical tasks associated with your sessions.
• Making appropriate referrals and coordinating ongoing patient care.
• Contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate primary care services.
• Collaborating with our nursing team, clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists, social prescribers, and care coordinators.

The role offers the opportunity to build relationships with patients and enjoy the continuity of care that is often missing in larger practices

Qualifications
Essential

• GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Entry on the GP Register.
• Inclusion on an NHS Performers List.

Desirable

• An interest in rural medicine and community-based healthcare.

Experience
Essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Desirable

• Previous experience working within General Practice.
• Experience using System 1
