About usConnnnect Healthcare Rotherham Community Interest Company (CIC) is a federation of 28 GP practices in Rotherham. The organisation is led by a Board of representatives from general practice in the Borough, with executive leadership from a Medical Director on a part-time basis.
The organisation currently delivers extended access primary care services in Rotherham and a Physio First service in partnership with the local acute and community trust, the largest of its kind currently operating. In addition, the organisation is supporting the development of primary care networks and manages delivery of training and development to large cohorts of the general practice workforce.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
- Portfolio of evidence of continuous professional development and post-qualifying experience
Desirable- Membership with Royal Pharmaceutical Society
- Medicines Reconciliation Certificate or equivalent
ExperienceEssential- Understanding of professional ethics and application in practice
- Experience of prioritising work load and meeting deadlines
- Previous experience working within a patient facing role
Desirable- Experience of prescribing/ clinical systems such as SystmOne and EMIS Web
- Recent previous experience with comparable role in a General Practice
- Able to undertake audit/quality improvement methodology
