Are you an existing Advanced Clinical Practitioner with experience of Urgent Treatment?
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced nurses or allied health professionals to join our existing team of ACPs.
A Band 8a position will be offered to candidates who have already completed an MSc in Advanced Practice (or equivalent) and who can demonstrate contemporary experience working at an advanced level within a relevant clinical environment.

Main duties of the job- Provide clinical leadership, including direct clinical care, and advice on complex issues
- Establish a cohesive team approach for the ACP workforce development
- Support the UTC service leads and managers with audit, innovation, and performance management
- Lead on training needs discussions, based on audit findings, supervision outputs and individual staff knowledge gaps
- Assist in feedback for staff appraisals.
- Deputise for the GM where necessary, if not being carried out by other members of staff.

Job responsibilitiesWere seeking ACPs with a special interest in the management of the typical conditions seen within a UTC, to provide day-to-day clinical leadership support to the teams.
To provide leadership support for the clinicians already working in the service, to advance the care of the presenting patients (in line with our 4 pillars approach).
Were looking for ACPs with a proven track record of working at this level in an urgent care environment and who can support the South Service Lead and Unit managers in safe care delivery.
Person SpecificationEducation qualification- Professional registration with NMC or HCPC
- Evidence of post registration study at under graduate level 6
- Teaching qualification
- MSC Advanced Clinical Practitioner or equivalent
- Independant prescribing
Experience and knowledge- Significant relevant post registration experience
- Experience of a leadership role
- Participating in a multi professional team
- Practical understaning of primary care and community services
- Involvement in service improvement
- Implementation of best practice
- Mentor, appraiser or clinical supervisor
