We are looking for a Staff Nurse to help drive forward our bespoke DCHS Quality Always on Fenton ward, Cavendish Hospital.
Fenton Ward is currently a 10-bedded ward that delivers rehabilitation care and complex discharge planning to our frail elderly population embedding the 6 Cs in everything that we do.
This post is a permanent inpatient position within DCHS.
Main duties of the jobDCHS is a forward-thinking organisation and here at Fenton ward we aspire to deliver excellent standards of care, professional development and offer many opportunities to progress county-wide within a number of services, which could include community nursing, quality department.
We are seeking a Staff Nurse who is able to deliver excellent clinical and organisational skills. The post holder will be dynamic and have a clear vision of what excellent patient care looks and feels like.
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care in the most efficient and clinically-effective way, whilst maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity.
To provide advice and support to junior staff in the delivery of high-quality care and actively support the Ward Manager in the management of the healthcare environment.
