Job summaryEast Norfolk Medical Practice (ENMP) is seeking a salaried GP to join our family. We care for 32,000 patients from four sites with a varied population including highly deprived urban to rural coastal communities. This is a great opportunity to work in a very large, diverse, robust practice that still maintains a strong family feel. You will have great support from twenty one GP colleagues and an excellent wider team.
We prioritise work-life balance, professional development and sustainable workloads. Each session includes three hours of direct patient contact and one hour of protected administration time. You will also have access to Heidi, our AI enhanced clinical support tool. All new GPs benefit from a mentor, a week of study leave, and take part in ongoing clinical education.
At ENMP we think differently. We have recently adopted a systems thinking approach and are working with an expert in workforce modelling from London South Bank University to improve outcomes for both our team and patients.
To help you decide if ENMP is right for you, one of our GPs shared why they chose to stay after training: a forward thinking culture, personalised patient lists, strong patient satisfaction, a successful business model, excellent staff morale and support, and partners who are always available for backup. In their words, ENMP offers a great deal to any potential recruit.
Main duties of the jobThe role is for a part time salaried GP with flexible working considered. At ENMP we are proud to continue to operate a personal list system with continuity of care the primary focus. You will take part in the duty doctor rota but unlike many practices, in this role, you are supported by our RCGP award winning Urgent Care Team, which includes four paramedics, an advanced nurse and a physician associate.
About usEast Norfolk Medical Practice cares for 32,000 patients across four sites in Great Yarmouth and Caister on Sea, Norfolk.
