Job responsibilitiesThe successful applicant will join a team of established BreastConsultants and middle grade breast surgeons. The post holder willundertake outpatient clinics and elective surgery and participate in weeklyMDT meetings.

Person SpecificationRegistrationEssential- Full GMC Registration with licence to practise
Desirable- Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for General Surgery or within 6 months of obtaining CCT (or CESR / equivalent)
QualificationsEssential- Medical Degree from recognised medical school
- FRCS in good standing with Royal College
- Intercollegiate Board Exam
Desirable- Higher qualifications e.g. MD/PhD
Audit and ResearchEssential- Thorough understanding of principles of medical audit and research
Desirable- Peer reviewed research, presentations and publications
ExperienceEssential- Sufficient experience to be placed on the specialist register
- Wide experience in Breast Surgery in recognised Breast Units in the UK
Desirable- Oncoplastic Fellowship or equivalent
Management skillsEssential- Demonstrates intelligent and analytical approach to problem solving
- Good time management
