Job summaryAn exciting opportunity as arisen for a Band 6 fixed term contract within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Service. The post holder will undertake a key worker role, alongside an assessment and formulation role within the team.The Neighbourhood Mental Health Service will enable timely access to mental health services when people need it most and provide support for people who might not traditionally meet the threshold or criteria of existing mental health services. The team will be multidisciplinary and will also include third sector organizations. The areas that this team will cover is the whole of the Wigan Borough.
Main duties of the jobYou will need to have experience of triaging and signposting referrals as well as being able to liaise with multitude of agencies and professionals. Experience and knowledge of community services and third sector organizations in Wigan will be beneficial for this role.
