Are you an experienced GUM clinician looking for a role where you can make a real difference, develop your career, and work within a forward-thinking, integrated sexual health service? We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Grade Doctor to join our Level 3 Integrated Contraception & Sexual Health service in Cheshire West & Chester delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a diverse and dynamic community.

About the role
You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, prevention-focused sexual health service, including:
  • Running ICASH and HIV clinics (67 per week)
  • Managing complex STI and HIV cases
  • Supporting clinical governance, audit, and teaching
  • Contributing to regional HIV MDTs and service development
  • Delivering patient-centred, inclusive care for all communities

You'll primarily be based at Fountains Health Centre in Chester, with opportunities to work across community clinics. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) opportunity.

Work with a collaborative MDT Join a well-established team including Consultants, Specialist Doctors, experienced nurses, and trainees in a service seeing ~18,000 patient attendances per year.
Protected development time With 2.5 SPA sessions, you'll have dedicated time for:
  • Clinical governance
  • Audit and research
  • Teaching and service improvement

About you:
We are looking for a doctor who brings:
  • At least 4 years post-qualification experience, including 2+ years in sexual health / GUM / HIV
  • Expertise in STI management and integrated sexual health
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for education, service improvement, and patient-centred care
  • GMC registration and commitment to professional development

Desirable: DFSRH, STIF competency, HIV experience, teaching or research background.
