We are looking for an Operational Lead on secondment until end March 2027 to support the Community Services Manager for Single Point of Access (SPA) and Hospital at Home (H@H).
This would ideally be someone currently in a similar post or someone looking to develop their operational leadership skills.
This is a very busy department covering two services and the post holder would be expected to be visible and based within the SPA at Kings Court 1 for the majority of their working week.

Job responsibilitiesYou will be expected to lead on the day to day running of the services and troubleshoot any issues. They would be responsible for maintaining staff supervision and development reviews as well as managing sickness and any other HR processes.
You would be responsible for managing the roster, ensuring cover across the service operating hours.
You would also be responsible for deputising for the Community Services Manager, where appropriate, at relevant meetings and operational updates.
This would be an exciting and fast paced role to support the current staffing over the winter pressures period when the demand into SPA/H@H increases significantly.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered Practitioner with current registration
- Evidence of relevant post graduate courses / Continual Professional Development maintained in portfolio
Desirable- Leadership training/ qualification
- Practice Educator qualification
ExperienceEssential- Significant experience of working within community and primary care settings
- Experience of Leadership
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience implementing change in clinical practice
- Experience of active engagement in audit and clinical governance activities
Desirable- Experience of developing new services
- Relevant experience at band 7
KnowledgeEssential- In depth working knowledge of risk assessment and evidence based clinical skills.
- Understanding of professional and ethical boundaries and code of conduct.
- High level of knowledge underpinning roles and responsibilities of the professional groups within an integrated team
- A high level of understanding of the approaches and models of practice relevant to their professional group
