Job SummaryBand 5 Nurses work with a defined caseload of service users and usually as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing assessment, care planning and care delivery, often (but not always) under the supervision of a more senior practitioner. This will include the provision of highly skilled care, psychological interventions, group work, clinical assessment, risk assessments / risk management, and promoting recovery and inclusion.
Band 5 posts within a community setting will be required to: work autonomously, manage caseloads, undertake initial assessments and carry out home based treatment interventions.
Please note as this is a temporary role we cannot accept applications from newly qualified nurses, or those requiring a preceptorship.

Knowledge Essential- Knowledge of the problems and difficulties experienced by people with mental health illness which underlie the additional recovery and rehabilitation needs.
