Job summary
LOOKING FOR A NEW, VARIED AND EXCITING ROLE IN CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE'S MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi award winning Mental Health Support Team as a CBT Therapist in Spalding and South Holland. This is a diverse and enjoyable role, in which the successful applicants will support a small caseload of children and young people (CYP), alongside supporting our low intensity CBT practitioners with Public Health England's Whole School Approach activities within our designated education settings. This includes CYP and parent/carer drop ins, training to education staff and workshops with CYP / parents / carers.

The Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) support children and young people aged 5-18 within school and college settings who are presenting with mental health or emotional health problems which are of a mild to moderate level of complexity and/or intensity.

You will receive regular group and 1:1 clinical supervision, alongside monthly management supervision and support from the wider team. MHST also work closely with our CAMHS and Healthy Minds Lincolnshire colleagues for support and shared learning.

MHST working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5, however, part-time and flexible working patterns are always considered. For more information, please contact sam.white19@nhs.net

Main duties of the job
You will provide assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for a range of presenting difficulties for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

We have various teams across the MHST, all in various stages of training. This role will therefore give you a great opportunity to work with both qualified staff and trainees. The role also offers a flexible style of working, as the team use a hybrid model, offering support both face-to-face and virtually to education staff, children, young people and their families.

You will need to be enthusiastic and very well organised and able to travel across Lincolnshire as needed to provide services. The post holder will be expected to be able to work on their own initiative as well as work well within a multi-disciplinary setting. They will need to be an excellent communicator and team player.
