Main duties of the job

• To act as an Authorised Pharmacist and take professional responsibility for the safe and timely preparation and supply of systemic anti-cancer therapy and aseptically prepared products.
• Providing professional and technical support in the preparation of systemic anti-cancer therapy and aseptically prepared products.
• Accuracy check dispensed and prepared SACT in the Aseptics unit
• Support the development of the clinical pharmacy service to Oncology and Haematology Clinics.
• Support Accountable Pharmacist and Aseptics Services Manager in maintenance of Quality Management Systems.

Person Specification
Qualifications - Essential

• Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Masters Degree in Pharmacy or UK recognised equivalent.

Experience - Essential

• NHS experience is Essential.
• Experience within Aseptic/Oncology is Essential.
