The closing date is 20 July 2026Job summaryWe are recruiting 1 substantive and 1 12 month fixed term Senior Mental Health Nurse's to join our Team in Central Norfolk Locality, where you will be based at the City Anchorage at the Julian Hospital. We provide assessment and treatment for those experiencing an acute mental health need in the community. We work with service users with avariety of mental health concerns, alongside working closely with families and carers as well as external agencies to provide a holistic approachand work in a creative and flexible way to provide a positive outcome for our service users on their recovery journey.
Main duties of the jobAre you a highly motivated, passionate, and skilled Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker? You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, review and delivery of care and treatment in conjunction with the service users on yourcapped caseload. You will be expected to support duty cover for the team on a rostered basis and will liaise with other agencies to ensure careneeds are met.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Occupational Therapist OR Social Worker with the relevant professional registration
- Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor training (NMC registrants) or Practice Educator (AHP & Social Worker Registrants)
- Ongoing professional development working towards degree level ( if professional registration is following a diploma level course)
Desirable- Higher degree or post graduate certificate in area of clinical / therapeutic practice.
- Recognised Leadership/Management training
ExperienceEssential- Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience
- Demonstrate effective risk assessment and risk management experience
Desirable- Experience in delivering group based interventions Experience in supporting service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Experience working in the specific area
OtherEssential- Ability and willingness to travel independently to meet the needs and requirements of the service
Desirable- Must have Valid UK driving licence.
SkillsEssential- Excellent communication and engagement skills Conflict resolution and Breakaway training (or requirement to undertake within first 12 weeks)
