We are keen to appoint a Specialty Doctor to join our team at 80, St Stephens Road, Norwich, NR1 3RE (Dragonfly Unit). This post is located in the Central Locality, offering services to younger adults between the ages of 18 and 25 years, living in the southern part of the locality. The post is based in the city of Norwich, alongside colleagues covering the northern part of the locality at the main base of the Youth team in the locality.

Main duties of the job
To work with the multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Nurses, Therapists and Allied Health Professionals in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of referred patients; take part in team meetings, supervision and the development of the team. Working within the South Central Norfolk Youth team, the post holder will undertake, exceptionally, to perform additional duties in emergencies and unforeseen circumstances and to be available for such irregular commitments outside normal duties as are essential for continuity of patient care which will on occasion involve seeing people at home and allowing time for 'hard to engage' children and families. The post has 5 PA's made up of 4.0 Direct Clinical Care PA's and 1.0 SPAs. The job plans and working patterns of doctors reflect the functional requirements of the Locality and the National Service Framework for Mental Health and are not determined by catchment area.
