About the RolePriory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Consultant Psychologist to join the team. This is a Part Time/ 22.5 Hour role. Priory Hospital Roehampton, a registered hospital in London, is a welcoming and highly respected rehab facility, offering expert mental health and addiction treatment. We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment planning for complex clinical cases across diverse populations.
- Lead and deliver evidence-based interventions, including psychological therapies tailored to individual client needs.
- Offer clinical supervision, training, and consultation to multidisciplinary teams and junior staff.
- Contribute to service development, policy formulation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in research activities and audit to support best practice and continuous professional development.
About YouThe successful candidate will be a Chartered Psychologist with a Doctorate or equivalent qualification in Clinical Psychology (or related field) and significant post-qualification experience working in complex clinical settings. Proven expertise in psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions is essential. Experience providing clinical leadership, supervision, and contributing to service development is highly desirable. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is mandatory, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
