Main duties of the jobAs a Paramedic, the successful candidate will deal with a wide variety of health needs in a primary care setting, they will work individually and as part of a team to ensure a high standard of care for all registered patients is met, as they carry out the associated clinical and administrative duties.
The successful candidate must be a prescriber.
About usWe are a traditional practice with individual lists and emphasis on family medicine and holistic care.
We currently have 8 Doctors - mix of partners, salaried GPs. We are also a training practice and have 2 trainee GPs currently with us.
We have 4 Nurse Practitioners and 2 HCAs providing top class chronic disease management, elderly home visiting, insulin initiations, spirometry, clinicial co-ordination and more.
We have an expanding, mixed patient demographic of 9,450 patients with predominant areas of deprivation.
We hold daily GP meetings and monthly clinical meetings.

Qualifications- Registered Paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Paramedic Science.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- 3 years Post registration experience
Experience- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to work in a primary care setting and adapt to the needs of the surgery.
- Full clean driving license
