Main duties of the jobThe Nursing Associate role involves collaborating with our Registered Nurses to provide holistic care to our patients. This is achieved through personalized care plans and focusing on what matters to the person at the centre of their care.
Our In-Patient Unit team takes great pride in delivering palliative and end-of-life care of the highest standard for patients with complex care needs, alleviating symptoms and preserving their dignity. As a result, the IPU maintains an excellent nurse-to-patient ratio, typically 1:4 to uphold this standard of care.
You will receive a structured orientation program from our dedicated team, supported by the leadership team and practice educators, to further enhance your skills, confidence, and competencies in patient care.
While the position we are recruiting for is challenging, it is also highly rewarding. You will be part of a supportive team working in a positive environment where all our staff and volunteers are valued. Internal rotation to night and weekends will be a requirement of the post.
