Job responsibilitiesa) Responsible for providing primary medical services to the registered patients of the practice, ensuring the highest standards of care for all, undertaken in line with the relevant national primary care contractual regulations and guidelines.
b) Provide care for both on-the day care for patients and pre-booked patients with long term conditions.
c) Responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the practice.
Full job description attached.Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003
- Accredited as a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or have 5 years experience as a full time GP with a demonstrable commitment to quality practice.
- Currently on a performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register
- Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check
- Evidence of continued professional development
ExperienceEssential- Commitment to and experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary and skill mixed team environment
- Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF)
- Clinical Governance
