Job summaryChurchill Clinic is looking for a motivated, organised, and patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmacy services across our two clinic sites.
Working closely with GPs, pharmacists, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure the safe, effective, and efficient management of medicines while supporting excellent patient care.
Main duties of the job- Support the safe and effective management of medicines within the practice.
- Carry out medication reconciliation following hospital discharge and other care transitions.
- Assist with medication reviews and prescription queries under the supervision of the clinical pharmacist and GPs.
- Process prescription requests accurately and efficiently.
- Support patients with medication-related enquiries and provide advice within your scope of practice.
- Help maintain accurate patient medication records.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative staff across both clinic sites.
- Ensure compliance with current NHS guidance, policies, and best practice.

Job responsibilities- Be a qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Have previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, ideally within general practice or primary care.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be confident using clinical systems and IT applications.
- Be able to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
- Be flexible and willing to work across our two clinic locations.
QualificationsEssential- Be a qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
