Job summaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our expanding practice. This is a 4 session post with the potential to increase to 6 if the applicant has an interest in research. We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified GP's (including those awaiting CCT)
The role is Fixed Term till March 2027 however we envisage this will continue subject to funding and the right candidate
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will carry out duties expected of a NHS General Practitioner using expected standards in line with national and local guidelines and policy.
About usThe Garth Surgery in Guisborough is nestled at the edge of the Cleveland hills and maintains access to major urban centres alongside spectacular countryside and the Yorkshire coastline.
Our practice has 7 partners, 2 salaried GP's and 3 ANP's alongside a hardworking nursing and administration team. We are a training practice and active in research. We operate from a recently refurbished and extended practice building. We have a growing list of nearly 11,700 patients and use Systmone clinical software.
We are a member of East Cleveland Primary Care Network
Job responsibilities- Our sessions are a mix of F2F and telephone / online consultations
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
- Duty GP and patient triage
- Administration of letters/test results etc - maintain accurate clinical records
- Contribute to enhanced service delivery
- Home visits
QualificationsEssential- MBBS
- MRCGP
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- Inclusion on NHS Performers List
Desirable- Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development
