Job summary
Due to a longstanding GP retiring at the end of the year, we are looking for a Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week

Main duties of the job

• Triage
• Assessing and treating patients
• On call duties (we follow a 6 week rolling rota as far as possible)
• Clinical admin: letters, tasks and bloods

Job responsibilities
You will have a mixture of routine clinics, triage and on call duties. When on triage, you work as part of a triage team with at least one other GP and a dedicated receptionist based together at our main site in Netherfield. The on call GP for the day forms part of the triage team.

We have a passion for system and process improvement, so we look to reduce admin burden where we can for our Salaried GPs. We allocate clinical admin first thing in the morning so that you know what your work is for the day ahead.

We have frailty ACPs and an ACP who covers our care home patients. You may be involved as part of an MDT virtual ward round on a rota basis.

We offer the choice of either the BMA model contract which is paid at £9750 per session per year or our Trentside contract which is paid at £10750 per session per year.

• Qualified GP or GP trainee about to CCT
