The role of the X-ray Clinical Lead is to be the operational manager for X-ray, DEXA, Fluoroscopy and Dental services. The role includes managing around 70 members of staff and combines clinical practice with team leadership, service improvement, radiation protection and clinical governance.

Main duties of the jobThe X-ray Clinical Lead Radiographer will be responsible for the leadership and operational management of the service provided at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital sites. The successful applicant will ensure delivery of responsive, high quality and efficient services within the resources available without compromising the quality of care we provide to our patients.
Providing professional leadership to the Radiography staff, setting the standard for clinical delivery and promoting inclusive, compassionate behaviours across our teams.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- BSC Radiography or equivalent qualification
- Management qualification or equivalent experience
- HCPC registration or equivalent
- Relevant postgraduate level qualification in clinical specialism
- Evidence of up to date CPD
