Job summary
West Town Surgery are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our Practice Team. West Town Surgery operates from a Grade 2 listed building in the historic town of Barton-Upon-Humber. The Surgery is situated within easy access to Hull, Lincoln, Leeds and York.

We are a friendly Practice with extremely good patient satisfaction levels.

We are a forward thinking, organised and structured Practice that believes in delivering the highest standards for patients.

Main duties of the job
The GP will be responsible for delivering the full range of primary care services as part of the Practice, ensuring the highest standards of care. Working 3 sessions per week Monday, Wednesday and Thursday pm.

Job responsibilities

• The GP will be responsible for delivering the full range of primary care services as part of the Practice, ensuring the highest standards of care for the differing needs of our patient population.
• The GP will work closely with the Practices multi-disciplinary team of other GPs, nurses and non-clinical staff to provide a high quality and accessible service to patients.

Qualifications
Essential

• A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003
• Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983
• Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
• Currently on a performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register

Desirable

• Recent experience of working as a GP/ Locum practitioner in general practice in the UK.
• Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality and Outcomes Framework

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
