Join the team at Allied Pharmacy in Eldene as a Pharmacy Assistant, where you'll play a key role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering excellent care to the local community. As the welcoming first point of contact for patients, you'll help with their queries while supporting the smooth running of the dispensary.

Key responsibilities:

• Greet patients and customers warmly, offering helpful advice and signposting where appropriate
• Support the pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Handle over-the-counter sales and provide guidance on everyday health products
• Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and checking expiry dates
• Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy and well organised
• Support repeat prescription services and liaise with local GP surgeries as needed
• Follow all relevant standard operating procedures and confidentiality requirements

What we're looking for:

• A friendly, approachable manner with strong customer service skills
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• A reliable team player who can also use their initiative
• Basic IT skills and a willingness to learn pharmacy systems
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting is welcome, though full training will be provided
• An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, or a willingness to work towards one, is desirable
