Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum D.O.E (plus bonus)
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday with no on-call, shifts, or nights.

You will be based at your local Apollo Home Healthcare office in St Helens, but some flexibility is required as you will be travelling to clients homes across Merseyside.

Main duties of the job- Taking clinical ownership of complex care caseloads. This will also include the occasional paediatric complex care package.
- Creating, managing, and reviewing bespoke care plans
- Leading and delivering clinical training for Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers
- Ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality care in line with national standards
- Reviewing clinical documentation, including MAR charts and care records
- Building strong, supportive relationships with our clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide ongoing mandatory training and development in line with national standards.
This role combines office-based responsibilities with community visits to our clients, focusing on the training, assessment, and competency of Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers.

Job responsibilities- To promote the Apollo Home Healthcare brand to all prospective clients and healthcare professionals, undertake assessment of new referrals and reviews of current service user care plans as well as assist in the recruitment and interviewing of potential new staff. There will be a requirement to manage appraisal and supervision of staff.
- Provide person centred nursing care and support to service users, their families and healthcare assistants.
- Participate as part of a team and using a person-centred approach, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care delivered.
- Maintain and oversee the maintenance of appropriate associated service user records.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Valid NMC Pin with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
Skills and ExperienceWe are looking for passionate and compassionate nurses with experience in:
- Airway management, including tracheostomy care and suctioning.
- Ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive)
- Enteral feeding (PEG / JEJ / NG)
Desirable- Experience with spinal injuries, acquired brain injuries, degenerative or neurological conditions is beneficial but not essential.
- Additional training can be provided.
