Job summary

Interview expected to take place in the week following shortlisting: commencing 07.09.26 -
The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive adult and paediatric audiology service. This will include being responsible for leading the complex adult rehabilitation service.

Main duties of the job
The primary duties of the post include the assessment, rehabilitation and management of adult patients with complex hearing difficulties. For more details please see job description

Person Specification
Experience
Essential
  • Extensive clinical experience in Adult Audiology
  • Experience of working autonomously and as part of a team within the NHS

Desirable
  • Leading and developing an area of Audiology
  • Involvement /leadership of audit and research

Skills
Essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work confidently with staff at all levels
  • Ability to deal with competing work pressures and specific deadlines.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Band 6 and appropriate post graduate training , MSc in Audiology with CAC/HTS, or STP Audiology
  • AHCS or HPCP Registration

Desirable
  • Mentorship/Supervision qualification
  • Hold a full driving licence and has access to a car
  • Sign Language Skills/Qualification

Knowledge
Essential
  • Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
