Job summaryWe are looking for a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team of Consultants in Women's Health at Bristol NHS Foundation Trust at our Southmead Hospital site.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team when we are developing and expanding services offering high quality care to our women in all parts of our service.
As the hub for the South West Complex Termination of Pregnancy Network and a direct NHS abortion care provider, experience in abortion care and management would be especially welcome.
Main duties of the jobApplicants should have a CCT or be within six months of achieving this at the date of interview or be listed on the GMC's specialist register to be eligible for application for a substantive post. CESR applicants are welcome and must have their CESR in place at the time of interview.
The postholder will be responsible for the clinical management of patients under their care, and, in liaison with consultant colleagues, continuity of care when the post holder is absent. The postholder will be responsible for the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff. The postholder will be required to take part in a Clinical Audit Programme.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- MRCOG or equivalent
- Maintain Full registration with the GMC.
