Job summary
Are you looking for a flexible GP role that fits around your existing commitments?

Clifton Court Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 2-4 sessions per week (over 1-2 days).

We are happy to be flexible on working days wherever possible and recognise that many GPs are seeking greater flexibility in their careers. This is a fixed-term position until 31 March 2027, with a strong possibility of extension, subject to ongoing funding and service requirements.

We are a highly regarded training practice committed to delivering excellent patient care whilst supporting the wellbeing, professional development and work-life balance of our staff.

To apply, please email your CV and covering letter outlining your suitability for the role to Andrea Francis at andrea.francis5@nhs.net.

Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP at Clifton Court Medical Practice, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse practice population whilst working as part of a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team.

  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Providing ongoing care for patients with long-term conditions.
  • Prescribing in line with local and national guidance.
  • Develop and review patient management and treatment plans.
  • Making appropriate referrals to secondary care and community services.
  • Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audit and QOF activity.
  • Contributing to enhanced service delivery where appropriate.
  • Working collaboratively with practice colleagues and the wider healthcare team.
  • Participating in practice meetings and continuing professional development activities.

The successful candidate will undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a General Practitioner working within primary care.
