Job summary
We are excited to recruit a registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Wimborne Adult CMHT team.

We would welcome applicants who are passionate about recovery, person centred in their approaches and driven to be part of a close working team.

You will be supported in your clinical work, and professional development, and with ongoing close & supportive supervision from the Team Leader.

You will provide specialist care and interventions, assessments, treatments and managing patients on a caseload, as part of the wider multi- disciplinary care team.

You will provide a high-quality person-centred approach to care delivery which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.

If you are looking for a challenging, varied and rewarding job this could be the post for you, and we would welcome you to come and meet us and apply.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary team, this team is made up of a Psychiatrist, Nurses, other mental health practitioners and Support Time Recovery Worker with further support from the business support team and psychologist.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, committed, dynamic, and a motivated professional with excellent communication, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.

Having experience of working in a community mental health environment would be useful, but not essential, you will need to be able to apply the philosophies of engagement and recovery within your work with service users.

A good level of IT literacy is an essential requirement.

The team is based in Wimborne and covers the surrounding area. The post holder will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car as they will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community settings.

Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Please ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful.

Your supporting statement should be in your own words and must accurately reflect your personal experience and achievements. Where we have concerns that AI has been used to generate content that misrepresents your experience and suitability for the role, we may withdraw your application.
