Job summary
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join our dedicated team of Lower GI Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists as a Band 7 CNS on a 1 year fixed term or secondment to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for an experienced nurse with evidence of professional development that is innovative, motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience in colorectal nursing, cancer nursing and/or a previous role as a CNS will be advantageous for applicants.

Main duties of the job
This Band 7 role allows the postholder to develop professionally, gaining extensive lower GI cancer knowledge, advanced communication skills and autonomous management of a patient caseload while ensuring the provision of excellent patient care in accordance with national guidelines.
