Job summary
Are you a passionate and patient-focused GP looking for an opportunity to work within a friendly, progressive, and well-supported practice? Inspire Health is seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week (Thursdays and Fridays) to join our thriving and expanding team based at Avenue House Surgery and Hasland Medical Centre in Chesterfield.

Main duties of the job

• Providing comprehensive medical care to patients through face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations.
• Diagnosing and managing acute and long-term health conditions.
• Conducting home visits where clinically appropriate.
• Prescribing medication and reviewing treatment plans in line with best practice and local prescribing guidance.
• Reviewing test results, correspondence, and clinical documents, and taking appropriate action.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic patient records.
• Participating in safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults.
• Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, paramedic, and administrative staff.
• Supporting health promotion, disease prevention, and population health initiatives.
• Contributing to practice meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement activities, audits, and significant event reviews.
• Complying with GMC standards, NHS contractual requirements, CQC standards, and local policies.
• Supporting the education and supervision of trainees, students, or other healthcare professionals where appropriate.
• Participating in practice development and service improvement initiatives.
