Job summaryClifford Ward is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to develop their leadership skills while supporting the Ward Sister in the day-to-day management of the ward. You will help ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care, while supporting junior staff through supervision, appraisals, and performance management.
Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership to nursing staff, healthcare assistants, and students, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining high standards of care. You will work closely with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure care is safe, compassionate, and patient-centred.
You will be expected to manage competing priorities in a busy environment, contribute to audits and quality improvement activities, and support the delivery of evidence-based practice.
This role is ideal for a compassionate and motivated nurse with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills who is committed to delivering excellent patient care and supporting team development.

- Emulate best practice in relation to Safeguarding, ensuring that they maintain and share their knowledge of Mental Capacity Act Assessment, Deprivation of Liberty and Best Interests
