Job responsibilitiesThe Practice Nurse role involves delivering essential nursing services within our GP practice, with a primary focus on wound care and dressings, cervical screening, chronic diseases management and immunisations. The role involves assessing and treating wounds, performing cervical smear tests in line with national screening guidelines, administering routine vaccinations, and providing patients with relevant health education and advice. Working closely with GPs and the wider healthcare team, the Practice Nurse ensures high standards of patient care, infection control, and accurate clinical record-keeping.
