The Children's Diabetes team at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, RMCH is pleased to be able to offer a permanent band 7 Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurses. We are seeking someone who is passionate about paediatric diabetes and achieving optimum health outcomes for all children, young people and their families living with this long-term condition.
Main duties of the jobAs one of the senior paediatric diabetes nurses, you should demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. You will also need to establish effective working relationships across the organisation and National CYP Diabetes Network to continually improve our service delivery, patient experience and staff support. We provide a seamless service across tertiary, secondary and community care services for a large caseload of CYP with all forms of diabetes which adds to the appeal of working at Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital
The team provides support to families Monday-Friday from 07:30 - 17.00 with out of hours service available for families with a focus on newly diagnosed and new to HCL pump therapy.
