Childrens Staff Nurses – Hospice at Home
Salary:
Band 5 – £31,049 - £37,796 per annum pro rata
Band 5 Bank Rate £37,796 pro rata / £19.33 per hour (Mileage rates apply)
Contracts:
1) Permanent Part-Time 15.5 hours per week in Northern Trust Area
2) Waiting List for Permanent and Temporary Full and Part-Time roles in Southern, Northern, or South-Eastern Trusts
3) Bank
Location:
This is a combined role based between Community and Horizon House IPU (*Community refers to Northern, South-Eastern and Southern Health & Social Care Trust Areas but post-holders will be primarily community based)
Role
The Staff Nurse will work predominantly in the child’s own home within the trust but will also be required to work in the Children’s IPU. He/she will participate in the assessment, planning and delivery of care to the children and the delegation of care to non-registered members of the care team promoting a philosophy of holistic care and active engagement of children and families. The role will include both day and night duty.

The Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to infants, children, and adults across Northern Ireland.
