About usOakwood Medical Centre is a well established GP practice looking after approximately 8,300 patients. Our clinical team includes 2 GP Partners, 3 salaried GPs, 2 Physician Associates, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, 1 Paramedic, 2 Practice Nurses and 1 Healthcare Assistant. We have a very efficient supporting admin team, which includes an Operations Manager and Practice Manager.

Job responsibilitiesAs a Salaried GP you will
- Provide high quality clinical care to all patients.
- Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, home visits when duty GP, signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Developing care plans in line with practice disease management protocols.
- Contribute to practice QOF performance and clinical audits.
- Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary.
- The post-holder will be expected to undertake all the usual duties and responsibilities associated with a GP in primary care.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Qualified General Practitioner
- Full GMC registration with licence to practice
- Inclusion on the NHS performers list
- DBS clearance
ExperienceEssential- Experience of working within a GP team in primary care
