Job summaryAre you a Registered General Nurse? Primary Care 24 (PC24) are seeking highly skilled and motivated Registered General Nurses to join our bank workforce with opportunities within Brushwood and Millvina Care Homes. We are looking for RGNs who have experience working with care of the elderly patients/frailty within older persons environment/ community/social care /acute hospital and care home setting.
Main duties of the job- To be a role model and promote the highest standard of person-centred clinical nursing care to residents.
- Be the nominated nurse in charge and ensure safe staffing levels are met using theagreedpatient dependency score tool.
- Work alongside the care team, ensuring a high quality of care is delivered.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults.
- Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents care through written care plans
- Work supportively alongside clinical, care home colleagues and families in ensuring the highest standards of care for all residents.

Job responsibilitiesSalary: £22.77 per hour

Shifts: 12 hour shift patterns (08:00 - 20:00 & 20:00 - 08:00) days and nights available. Flexibility to bid for the shifts that work around you.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Experience working with care of the elderly patients/frailty within older persons environment/ community/social care /acute hospital setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of writing comprehensive care plans.
