Job summaryWe are looking for a skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our busy, established paediatric orthopaedic out-patient physiotherapy team for a career break cover from 01/10/26 -28/02/27
The out-patient service covers children 0-18 years with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including CTEV (treated with the Ponseti regime), DDH and those with normal variants including gait abnormalities and common growth conditions. The job role also involves serial plastering both as part of the Ponseti regime and for idiopathic tip toe walkers.
You will work alongside and be supported by experienced band 7 and 6 staff as part of a dynamic MDT.
This is a 5 month contract starting on 01/10/26.

Main duties of the jobTo provide a high standard Physiotherapy service to patients at Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust.
To provide specialist assessment, treatment, and goal setting of patients in a busy out-patient setting. Some patients may have complex and/or chronic presentations. To determine clinical diagnosis and Physiotherapy treatment indicated. To maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
You will develop highly specialist skills under the guidance of the senior staff.
To attend clinical level discussions / meetings relating to your area of work as delegated by your Clinical Lead.
