Band 6 Radiographer (CT, Interventional & General Imaging) Radiology Department | The London Clinic London, W1 Full Time | 37.5 Hours per WeekWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to join our growing Radiology team at The London Clinic.
As a Band 6 Radiographer, you'll play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, patient-centred imaging service across a range of specialist modalities including General X-ray, CT, Fluoroscopy, Theatre Imaging and Interventional Radiology.

What you'll be doingYou'll provide safe, effective and compassionate imaging services across a rotational portfolio of imaging modalities, including:
- General Radiography (Inpatient and Outpatient)
- CT Imaging
- Interventional Radiology
- Theatre Imaging
- Fluoroscopy
- Mobile & Portable Imaging
- Bone Densitometry
Key responsibilities will include:- Performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations safely and efficiently.
- Operating as an IR(ME)R Operator in accordance with current legislation.
- Producing high-quality diagnostic images whilst delivering an exceptional patient experience.
- Assisting Radiologists during Fluoroscopy and Interventional procedures.
- Undertaking CT examinations and ensuring appropriate patient safety screening.
- Administering IV contrast where trained and competent.
- Working collaboratively with consultants, radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using RIS and PACS systems.
- Participating in weekend, night and on-call services following competency sign-off.
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits and departmental projects.
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
What we're looking forEssential- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography, DCR or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience within Diagnostic Radiography.
- Experience across General Imaging, CT, Fluoroscopy, Theatre Imaging and Interventional Radiology.
- Strong understanding of IR(ME)R 2017 and radiation protection legislation.
- Experience using RIS and PACS systems.
- Excellent communication, organisation and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
Desirable- Additional experience within MRI and/or Breast Imaging.
- IV Contrast Administration qualification.
- Experience supporting audits, quality improvement or research activity.
- Previous mentoring or supervision of junior radiographers.
- Advanced Interventional Radiology experience.
