We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our friendly Women's Health Team. You'll be providing safe, effective nursing care, support and advice to women attending our outpatient gynaecology clinics.
Our clinics include Colposcopy, Outpatient Hysteroscopy, Menorrhagia, Post-Menopausal Bleeding (PMB), Coil, Vulval and Urogynaecology, as well as a range of other specialist gynaecology services.
This is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in women's health. You'll work alongside experienced nurse specialists and our supportive medical team, with plenty of opportunities for learning and development.
This post is
27.5 hours per week, worked across a mixture of:
- Long days: 08:30-17:30
- Early shifts: 08:30-13:30
- Late shifts: 13:00-18:00
Please note that all staff are expected to work flexibly across our Trust sites to meet service needs.
Base location: Poole Hospital

Main duties of the job- Setting up for procedural clinic's- including all equipment (aseptically setting up scopes) , prepping notes, documentation etc...
- Assisting consultant during procedures
- Supporting the patient and being their advocate during procedures
- Giving post procedure advice
- Stock ordering
- Pharmacy ordering
- Providing post procedure care to unwell patients- including active monitoring and escalating deteriorating patients
- Completing RTT outcome forms post clinic's and actively encouraging patients to fill in feedback forms
