Key responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, professional service at the counter
- Assist with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Handle over-the-counter medicine sales, offering advice within your training and referring queries to the pharmacist when needed
- Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries, checking expiry dates and rotating shelves
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised pharmacy environment
- Support prescription collection, delivery arrangements and general administrative tasks
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and in line with confidentiality standards
What we're looking for- A friendly, approachable manner and a genuine interest in helping people
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with the public
- Good attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling medicines
- The ability to work well as part of a small, supportive team
- A willingness to learn and, where required, complete relevant pharmacy training (such as an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services)
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail or customer service role is welcome but not essential
